Biography
Andre De Beer, born in Potchefstroom in 1933, has dedicated his life to the advancement of art in every manner conceivable, whether by speaking, acting as Chairman of the National Art Association of South Africa, or becoming a full-time artist in 1983. He also worked as an art lecturer, senior lecturer, head of the art department, and vice-rector at the Pretoria College of Education.
