Liesel’s passion of flowers and the outdoors is evident in her artwork. Her paintings come to life with a hint of pastel or a line thanks to the deep tone and texture of oil on canvas. Liesel held thirteen well-received solo exhibits. She thought that the use of color was crucial to the production of an artwork. She had always been influenced by all of the classical artists as well as the great masters like Vermeer and Rembrandt. She developed a tranquil and flowing composition that soothes the senses by experimenting with negative space and the underlying tension between items.
