Contemporary South African artist Diane Victor is well-known for her prints and drawings that examine corruption, war, and social injustice. Her images of lost children, created with charcoal and candle smoke, are among of Victor’s most cherished creations. “Candle smoke carbon deposits are used to create the faces on white paper.
