South African artist Tina Swart, who lived in the 20th century, is well-known for her paintings that reflect her love of both people and animals. Pongola, in the northern KwaZulu-Natal region of South Africa, is the place of her birth. She began pursuing her ambition to be an artist in 1995. “I’ve been inspired to express myself through a blank piece of paper ever as I can remember. Since I am mostly self-taught, I consider my talent to be a gift. That’s why I sign my name beneath the phrase “Gratiam Domini” on my works. Tina states, “I drew my first pencil portrait when I was eleven years old. She currently resides in Cape Town, where she intends to continue pursuing her true vocation as an artist.
